The Wine Advocate (over de 2007 Hameau de Blagny): "Ente has all of two barrels (one a demi-muid) of 2007 Puligny-Montrachet Hameau de Blagny this year. Scents of honeysuckle, orange and apple blossom lead to a silken, buoyant palate of liquid floral, citrus, and ripe pit fruits that engage in a scintillating interchange with saline, stony and crystalline mineral notes. It is impossible for me to repress thoughts of an Ockfener Bockstein Riesling from the Saar, not least for the wine’s aromas and dynamic interplay. This lingers with lift, succulence, and brightness. The last thing that would occur to you is that – at 13% – it is the highest in alcohol of this collection. The dimple that is this site may be relatively high up on the hillside, but it is a solar trap. I’d look for at least 6-8 years of satisfaction from this" 93 points. |
